Graham moved to Yalding 4 years ago and joined Yalding Art Group very soon after.  He was a lovely man.  Kind, quiet and very knowledgeable.  He grappled with every exercise I gave him without complaint and I am a hard taskmaster at times!  He was loved by us all and was a very valuable member of our group.  I always thought his art very like Quentin Blake's who is a favourite of mine and considering that words were his forte as opposed to painting, he did some lovely work.  We had his moorhen card printed and I hate to say it, but it is far better than mine and just captures the bird with its large feet and courageous stance perfectly. Much like Graham really!

When we all get back together I will be expecting Graham to arrive, just as coffee is being served - he would time it to perfection.  And only then would be start work on the latest exercise.  RIP Graham and we will miss you.  June and everyone from Yalding Art Group. xxx
