Tony Bassett writes: Graham was the first person I met when I arrived for my first reporting shift on The Sunday People and I got to know him fairly well over the next few years. He was one of the kindest, friendliest people I have ever met in my life as well as being a very good journalist. Extremely sorry to hear of his death and my condolences to his family and friends.
